Blair Elliott
Blair is a proud Piqua native and current resident who graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Organizational Communication and Marketing. Paired with that degree, Blair’s experience selling Dale Carnegie Training after college, working as a laborer on landscape crews, and working for the Piqua Country Club Golf Course has helped mold him into the person he is today. Blair is a continuous learner and a certified CMHA Paver Patio Installer, as well as an OGIA Landscape Installer.
Blair prides himself on creating relationships with his customers and giving back to his team and community. His favorite part of being the President of Elliott Land and Hardscaping is giving team members the tools and guidance to grow and watching them reach their potential.
Blair is a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church and serves on the SPRC Board. He is an advisor for the Upper Valley Career Center Landscape Program and is extremely active in the communities they serve. Blair’s greatest achievement and legacy is his family: Lindsey, Brody, Sophie, and Van.
Reynna Lavey
Reynna Lavey has been with Elliott Land and Hardscaping for seven years and this year steps into the role of Operations Manager. An Ohio Certified Nursery Technician and Aileron Activating Professional Management graduate, Reynna has extensive hands-on experience in landscape and hardscape operations. For the past two years, she served as our lead crew leader, where she gained invaluable daily knowledge and management experience that she now brings to the operations team.
Reynna started working with Blair right out of high school and quickly realized she could build a long-term career in landscaping. She thrives on working outside through all of Ohio’s seasons and values the team-oriented, family-like culture at Elliott Land and Hardscaping, where everyone supports each other.
Outside of work, Reynna enjoys spending time with her wife and daughter, exploring the outdoors, and seeking new adventures. When it’s time to relax, you’ll often find them snuggled up watching Miss Rachel.
Matt Reedy
Matt Reedy joined Elliott Land and Hardscaping in 2025 as our Office and Client Relations Manager, bringing over six years of landscape account management and more than ten years of customer relations experience. He oversees purchasing, invoicing, social media, time reporting, and marketing, ensuring smooth operations while keeping our clients’ needs front and center.
Matt has known Blair since childhood and, after several conversations about joining the team, finally came on board to help grow the business he believes in. He thrives on working with people and supporting the team’s mission to deliver exceptional landscape and hardscape services.
Outside of work, Matt is married with three young children under the age of four. He enjoys golf, watching sports, and family weekends, and he’s proud to call Piqua, Ohio home.
Derek Jennings
Derek Jennings brings over ten years of experience in landscaping to his role as Softscapes Crew Leader and Sales at Elliott Land and Hardscaping. With a strong background in landscape design, installation, and maintenance, Derek is known for his attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results on every project.
In his sales role, Derek works closely with clients to bring outdoor spaces to life in a way that aligns with their vision, needs, and budget. He prides himself on providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships throughout the process. Derek values Elliott Land and Hardscaping’s reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and strong client relationships, and enjoys being part of a team that truly takes pride in its work.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He plays golf, travels, attends concerts, and is learning to play the guitar. Derek and his wife, Bre, stay busy with their two dogs and are actively involved at Victory Church in Tipp City. He also competes in a Thursday night golf league, where his team is a two-time defending champion.
Ricky Stephan
Ricky Stephan is entering his third year with Elliott Land and Hardscaping and serves as a Hardscape Crew Leader, overseeing the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor lighting, and fire pits. A graduate of the Upper Valley Career Center Construction Program, Ricky brings a strong construction background to every project and is also a skilled equipment operator.
Ricky enjoys working at Elliott Land and Hardscaping because of the company culture and close-knit team environment. He takes pride in finishing a job, stepping back, and knowing the work was done right. His brother, Clayton, joined the company first and encouraged him to come on board—advice Ricky is glad he took.
Outside of work, Ricky enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends. During the winter months he likes to relax and game, and he’s recently taken up a new hobby of building derby cars with his dad and brother.
Clayton Stephan
Clayton Stephan has been with Elliott Land and Hardscaping for three years and serves as our Maintenance Crew Leader. He oversees our bi-weekly maintenance program and also supports softscape projects during peak season, helping ensure our clients’ properties look their best throughout the year.
Clayton enjoys working with a close-knit team and values the relationships he builds with customers. Known as a customer favorite, he takes pride in providing friendly, reliable service and consistent results on every property he maintains.
Outside of work, Clayton enjoys sports—especially football—gaming, and spending time with friends.
Jared Middendorf
Jared Middendorf is a Lead Technician and Crew Leader at Elliott Land and Hardscaping, bringing five years of landscaping experience to the team. He began building his foundation in the industry during high school while working for Crown at the Dicke Estate, where he gained many of the core skills that continue to shape his work today. Jared also has two years of hardscape experience and plays an active role on many hardscape projects, while remaining versatile enough to step into softscape work whenever needed.
Jared enjoys working at Elliott Land and Hardscaping because of the close-knit, younger team environment and the shared drive to grow and succeed together. He values the opportunities the company provides for both personal and professional development.
Outside of work, Jared enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting. He has been with his wife for eight years and they will celebrate two years of marriage in June. Together, they have a son, Beckett, who will turn one in July.
Jake Shaffer
Jake Shaffer is a Technician at Elliott Land and Hardscaping and a graduate of the Upper Valley Career Center Landscape Program. He has a strong passion for landscaping and enjoys working outdoors, bringing a steady work ethic and attention to detail to every project.
Jake’s laid-back personality is balanced by his dedication on the job—while easygoing, he is a dependable and hardworking team member who works well with all crew members. He enjoys being part of a collaborative team and takes pride in contributing to high-quality results.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time with friends, golfing, and following sports.
Kenny Ray Coulter
Kenny Ray Coulter has been with Elliott Land and Hardscaping for four years and serves as our Grounds Crew and Mechanic. Known around the company as “Mr. Fix-It,” Kenny is the go-to person for anything that needs repaired, assembled, or taken care of—no task is too big or too small. He never says no and always puts the Elliott Land and Hardscaping brand first.
Kenny is responsible for maintaining our facility inside and out, and the compliments we receive about how clean and organized it is are a direct result of his hard work. He mows, cleans, prepares and loads mulch and soil for customers and crews, makes topsoil and compost, and handles deliveries. You’ll rarely see Kenny standing still—he’s always busy making sure everything runs smoothly and looks its best.
Kenny takes pride in making our place shine, brings positivity to the workplace, and is a truly crucial member of our team who makes everyone around him smile.
